Faxon Firearms ION-X Hyperlite 5.56x45mm NATO 10.5" 30+1 Semi-Auto AR-15 Pistol

The Faxon Firearms ION-X Hyperlite is an ultra-lightweight AR-15 pistol chambered in 5.56x45mm NATO, purpose-built around a 10.5" pencil-profile barrel with a salt bath nitride finish for outstanding wear and corrosion resistance. The complete pistol weighs just 4.93 lbs, putting it among the lightest complete 5.56 AR pistols available.

The foundation is Faxon's X-Tra Lite forged receiver set in black, optimized to cut weight without sacrificing rigidity. A tuned gas system with a patented adjustable gas block works with the Faxon Gunner lightweight bolt carrier group and an ambidextrous charging handle to deliver reliable cycling with reduced reciprocating mass.

A carbon fiber M-LOK handguard keeps the front end light while providing a full-length M-LOK interface for accessories. The barrel is threaded 1/2x28 and fitted with Faxon's MuzzLok ported flash hider. A Hiperfire EDTDM drop-in trigger gives a clean, crisp break, and the Radian Ambi Talon 45/90 safety selector delivers fully ambidextrous control for both right- and left-handed shooters.

Controls are finished with a Black Magpul pistol grip and black polymer furniture, and the pistol ships without iron sights so the end user can mount a red dot or other optic directly to the upper. Capacity is 30+1 from a standard STANAG-pattern magazine. Assembled in Ohio by Faxon Firearms.
