Maxim Defense MD15 Duty Precision 5.56 NATO 18" Semi-Auto Rifle

The Maxim Defense MD15 Duty Precision is a 5.56 NATO semi-auto rifle engineered for repeatable accuracy, stability, and confident performance at distance. Built on a black anodized aluminum receiver topped with a full Picatinny rail and fitted with an 18" threaded barrel, the MD15 Duty Precision gives shooters a refined AR-15 pattern platform ready for optics, lights, and other mission-critical accessories.

The 18" barrel is finished in black and crowned with a QD flash hider on a 5/8x24 thread pitch, so the rifle is suppressor-ready right out of the box. This model ships with no iron sights installed, leaving the upper Picatinny rail free for the optic of your choice. An M-LOK compatible handguard (M-Rax/M-Slot pattern) shrouds the free-float barrel and offers plenty of real estate for grips, lights, lasers, and other accessories.

At the heart of the rifle, a LaRue MBT two-stage trigger delivers a clean, consistent break, while an ambidextrous safety keeps manipulation intuitive for both left- and right-handed shooters. The MD15 Duty Precision rides on a Magpul PRS Lite adjustable black polymer stock and comes in at 7.11 lbs unloaded with a 37.75" overall length, a balanced, stable package for the range, the bench, or the field.

Finished in black throughout and purpose-built by Maxim Defense, the MD15 Duty Precision is a semi-auto tactical rifle for shooters who want a step beyond the mil-spec baseline.
