Daniel Defense DDM4 M4A1 5.56x45mm NATO 14.50" 30+1 Semi-Auto Rifle - FDE Handguard

The Daniel Defense DDM4 M4A1 is a purpose-built tactical 5.56x45mm NATO semi-automatic rifle modeled after the military M4A1 carbine. This DDM4 variant pairs a black hard coat anodized upper and lower receiver with a distinctive Flat Dark Earth M4A1 RIS II quad-rail handguard, giving the rifle a two-tone look that stands out on the range while preserving the controls and handling shooters expect from a modern M4 platform.

At the heart of the rifle is a 14.50" cold hammer forged chrome-lined steel M4-profile barrel with a 1:7" rifling twist, terminated by a permanently attached Daniel Defense flash suppressor. The 7075-T6 aluminum upper and lower receivers carry a black Type III hard coat anodized finish, while the bolt carrier group and internal controls are finished in black phosphate for long-term corrosion resistance.

Controls are set up for real-world use, with an ambidextrous safety selector and a Mil-Spec single-stage trigger. The lower is fitted with a six-position collapsible buttstock featuring SoftTouch overmolding for a comfortable, stable cheek weld in any of the six stock positions. Overall length adjusts from 31.50" to 34.75" and the rifle tips the scales at 6.74 lbs empty, making it a balanced carbine for duty, defense, and range use.

The M4A1 RIS II handguard is CNC machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and finished in hard coat anodizing in Flat Dark Earth, providing a full-length MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny rail along the top and CNC machined rail sections at the three, six, and nine o'clock positions for lights, lasers, foregrips, and other accessories. The upper receiver is optic ready with a Mil-Spec Picatinny rail on top, ready for your choice of red dot, holographic sight, or magnified optic.

Feeding is handled by standard AR-15-pattern detachable magazines, with a 30+1 capacity rating for the rifle. The action is laid out for right-handed shooters, and the carbine ships from Daniel Defense as a complete, ready-to-run rifle configured for personal protection, sport, and duty applications. This is a brand new current-production firearm.
