The Workhorse lower is forged from aerospace-grade 7075-T6 aluminum and precision machined, then coated in a rugged MIL-A-8625F Type III hard anodized flat black finish that resists corrosion and stands up to hard use in the field.

This lower is designed around the standard TDP/Mil-Spec pattern, so it is fully compatible with conventional AR-15 lower parts kits, trigger groups, pistol grips, and Mil-Spec buttstocks. It fits the AR-15, M16, and M4 family of rifles and is set up to accept 5.56 NATO and .223 Remington caliber uppers. As a stripped lower, it gives you the serialized foundation for your build without adding unnecessary bulk to the finished rifle.
