Taurus 1911 45 ACP 5" 8+1 SAO Pistol - Matte Black Frame / Green Cerakote Slide

The Taurus 1911 is a full-size, single-action-only .45 ACP semi-automatic pistol crafted in the Taurus factory from hammer-forged (not cast) ordnance-grade steel frames, slides, and barrels. Designed to be the standard that all 1911 pistols are compared against, the Taurus 1911 line is hand-fit and tuned by Taurus pistolsmiths in the state-of-the-art Taurus factory, with each slide, barrel, and frame marked with matching serial numbers in the final step.

This Government-profile configuration pairs a 5" barrel with an 8+1 capacity and ships with one 8-round magazine. The serrated slide wears a Mil-Spec Green Cerakote finish, while the matte black steel frame features a beavertail design. A thumb safety, drift-adjustable Novak front and rear sights, and Brown VZ Operator II custom grips round out the controls and ergonomics.
