The ground-breaking design of the U.S. Palm AK30 magazine represented a leap forward in AK magazine technology and gave it the unparalleled strength it needed to survive impacts that would destroy other magazines; a level of performance that hasn't been duplicated since!

It's unique design began by eliminating the standard AK magazine's removable floor plate. Next, the locking surfaces were reinforced by a stainless steel cage that was molded into the entire top of the magazine; both of these construction steps increased the rigidity and strengthened the entire body of the magazine. Using advanced, proprietary aerospace polymers also eliminated the need for metal feed lips. Once the magazine's outer casing parts were molded, the body and end-cap were then bonded together at the molecular level; this eliminated the need for disassembly and further ensured reliability for years of trouble free service.
