The Taurus 605 Poly Protector is a concealable 5-shot revolver chambered for 357 Magnum and 38 Special +P. Built for personal protection, it pairs a lightweight polymer frame with a 2" barrel for an overall length of just 6.70" and a carry-friendly weight of 20 oz.

At the heart of the 605 Poly Protector is Taurus's proven small-frame double-action/single-action action with an exposed hammer for positive single-action cocking. The 5-round cylinder wears a matte black oxide finish, while the barrel is finished in classic black. The revolver ships ready to fire either full-power 357 Magnum or reduced-recoil 38 Special +P ammunition.

Target acquisition is handled by a bright fiber optic front sight paired with a fixed rear sight, giving fast, intuitive alignment under stress. The black ridged rubber grip seats naturally in the hand and keeps the revolver planted during rapid follow-up shots.
