The Taurus Raging Hunter is a big-bore .454 Casull, 5-shot revolver purpose-built for short- to medium-range handgun hunting. Its DA/SA action, 5.12" ported barrel, and angular black anodized shroud give this large-frame revolver its distinctive aggressive profile, while a matte black oxide finish on the alloy steel frame and cylinder delivers a non-reflective look in the field.

Taurus pairs a steel sleeve inside an aluminum housing in the barrel assembly to cut weight and shift balance forward for a steadier hold. Factory-tuned porting and a gas expansion chamber disperse gases directionally, reducing muzzle lift and helping you get back on target faster. A factory-installed Picatinny scope mount on the frame makes mounting an optic straightforward for longer shots, and the fixed front / adjustable rear sight setup lets you run irons right out of the box.
