The Streamlight TLR-8 HL-X SUB USB is a compact rail-mounted weapon light with an integrated red aiming laser, purpose-built for subcompact handguns equipped with a 1913 short rail. Part of the TLR-8 X Series, this weapon light pairs a high-output white LED with a co-aligned red laser to deliver rapid target identification in low-light, duty, and home-defense applications.

The TLR-8 HL-X SUB produces 1,000 lumens of bright white light with 10,000 candela and a 200-meter beam reach. On the default setting it runs for 30 minutes; the unit is user-programmable to a 500-lumen output that delivers a 141-meter beam and extends runtime to 1.5 hours. The integrated red laser provides a clear aiming reference alongside the white light for fast, intuitive sight picture under stress.

Multi-fuel operation accepts either the included SL-B9 rechargeable battery pack (charged via the included USB-C cable) or a standard CR123A lithium battery. The housing is machined aluminum with a durable black anodized finish. The light measures just 2.51" long x 1.16" wide x 1.45" tall and weighs only 2.87 oz with the SL-B9 battery installed (2.77 oz with CR123A).

A tool-less rail clamp securely fits 1913 railed subcompact handguns, and the package includes the TLR-8 HL-X SUB light, mounting kit with rail keys, multi-tool, SL-B9 battery pack, and USB-C charging cable.
