The Smith & Wesson Model 686 Plus is a classic double-action/single-action revolver built on S&W's renowned L-Frame platform, chambered for .357 Magnum and also accepting .38 S&W Special +P. Since its introduction the 686 has become one of the most popular revolvers ever produced, widely used by law enforcement agencies and favored by competitive shooters and personal-protection enthusiasts alike.

This CA Compliant variant features a 6" barrel and a 7-round cylinder, giving shooters a longer sight radius for precision work along with the extra capacity of the Plus model. The stainless steel barrel, cylinder, and frame are finished in a classic satin stainless for corrosion resistance and long-term durability. An exposed hammer allows for traditional single-action precision shooting, while the smooth double-action trigger provides fast follow-up shots in a defensive scenario.

The revolver wears black finger-grooved grips for a secure, comfortable hold under recoil. Target acquisition is aided by a red ramp front sight paired with an adjustable white outline rear sight. The overall length measures 11.94" and the revolver weighs approximately 44.20 oz. S&W's internal lock is integrated into the frame for an added layer of safety, and the revolver is made in the USA.
