Smith & Wesson M&P15 Sport III 5.56 NATO 16" 30+1 Semi-Auto Rifle w/Red Dot

The Smith & Wesson M&P15 Sport III is a value-oriented AR-15 platform semi-auto rifle chambered in 5.56x45mm NATO (also accepts .223 Remington), purpose-built for range time, home defense, and recreational shooting straight out of the box.

At its core is a 16" barrel with 5R rifling and a 1:8" twist that stabilizes a wide range of bullet weights. The barrel is finished in matte black Armornite and threaded 1/2x28 for easy suppressor or muzzle device swaps. It pairs with a mid-length gas system and a 15" free-float M-LOK handguard, giving shooters plenty of real estate for lights, lasers, grips, and other accessories. Up front, an A2 flash hider tames muzzle flash.

The rifle wears a black hard-coat anodized aluminum receiver with a thumb safety for positive engagement and a 6-position adjustable stock to dial in length of pull across shooters of all sizes. Overall length runs 32" to 35" depending on stock position, and total weight sits at a manageable 6.5 lbs. Capacity is 30+1 rounds from a standard AR-pattern detachable magazine.

This Sport III ships with a Crimson Trace CTS-106 red dot optic mounted, giving you a ready-to-shoot package at an entry-level price point. Iron sights are not included - the red dot serves as the primary sighting system.
