The Smith & Wesson Model 500 is the most powerful production revolver in the world, chambered in the mighty 500 S&W Magnum and built on S&W's massive X-Frame revolver platform. This double-action / single-action revolver is purpose-built for serious handgun hunters and sport shooters chasing the ultimate in power and velocity.

At its core sits an 8.38" satin stainless steel compensated barrel mated to a satin stainless cylinder that holds 5 rounds. The integrated high-efficiency compensator tames punishing recoil and muzzle rise from the big magnum cartridge, and the satin stainless steel X-Large frame provides the strength and balance required to handle it. Overall length is 15" with a weight of 69.10 oz.

Sighting is handled by a HiViz red-dot interchangeable front sight and an adjustable rear, giving fast and intuitive target acquisition in the field. An exposed hammer allows for traditional single-action precision work, and the black finger-grooved grips lock the revolver securely into the shooter's hand. Two interchangeable muzzle brakes are included so the shooter can tune felt recoil to preference.
