Building on the time-tested J-Frame platform, the 637 carries forward the original Chiefs Special Airweight DNA in a compact package designed to disappear in a pocket or inside-the-waistband holster. This SKU is the CA-compliant configuration and ships equipped with Smith & Wesson's internal key lock.

At the heart of this J-Frame revolver sits a 1.88" stainless steel barrel paired with a matching stainless steel cylinder, all housed in a lightweight aluminum alloy frame finished in matte silver. The revolver tips the scales at just 14.30 oz unloaded with an overall length of 6.30", making it an easy-carry J-Frame for all-day use. A double-action/single-action trigger, exposed hammer for single-action precision work, and black finger-grooved synthetic grip round out the package, while an integral front sight and fixed rear sight deliver snag-free aiming for rapid close-quarters use.
