The Phase 5 Weapon Systems Extended Bolt Release V1 (EBRV1) is a two-piece, heat-treated add-on that mounts directly to the factory bolt catch on any AR-15 platform lower receiver. Machined from steel with a rugged black finish and measuring 2.25 inches overall, the extended paddle puts a positive release surface right where the shooter's support-hand thumb naturally rests during a reload.

During a magazine change, the shooter simply keeps the firing hand on the grip and swipes the toggle downward with the trigger finger to release the bolt and chamber the next round.
