Mec-Gar Sig P229 40 S&W 14rd Blued Anti-Friction Carbon Steel Magazine

The Mec-Gar MGP2294014AFC is a 14-round detachable pistol magazine built for the Sig Sauer P229 chambered in .40 S&W. Part of Mec-Gar's Super Capacity Tactical (SCT) lineup, this extended magazine adds capacity while protruding only about 5/8" below the grip frame, keeping the pistol compact and snag-free during carry and draw.

The magazine body is formed from a heat-treated carbon steel tube finished in blued and treated with Mec-Gar's proprietary anti-friction coating (AFC) for smoother slide engagement and added corrosion resistance. Inside, a high-impact polymer follower and high-tensile music wire spring deliver consistent feeding round after round, while the signature high-impact polymer +2 floor plate supplies the extended capacity and a positive base for speed reloads.
