Magpul MOE SL Carbine Handguard AR-15/M4 M-LOK OD Green Polymer

The Magpul MOE SL Carbine Handguard is a Made in the USA drop-in upgrade for AR-15/M4 platforms equipped with a carbine-length gas system and the classic triangular A2 front sight assembly. Reinforced, heat-resistant polymer construction keeps weight down while an integral riveted aluminum heat shield stands up to sustained fire, giving you a lightweight, cost-effective alternative to aluminum rail hand guards.

M-LOK accessory slots at the two, six, and ten o'clock positions provide direct-attach points for optional Picatinny rail sections, weapon lights, sling mounts, and forward grips. A large front extension and lower lip shield the shooter's support hand from the hot A2 front sight while maximizing usable handguard length. The handguard measures 8.9 in long by 1.8 in wide and weighs only 6.7 oz.

Installation is straightforward: the MOE SL is a direct replacement for factory M4 carbine-type plastic two-piece hand guards and reuses the existing round front hand guard retaining cap and rear spring-loaded delta ring. Important compatibility notes: this handguard is not compatible with piston-operated AR platforms and must be paired with the triangular A2 front sight - other low-profile gas blocks will not fit. Any factory sling swivel attached to the A2 front sight assembly must be removed prior to installation.
