The Lockdown 222010 Electric Dehumidifier Rod is an 18-inch moisture-control rod designed to protect firearms and ammunition stored inside a gun safe or vault. Operating on standard 110V AC, the rod works by slightly increasing and maintaining the air temperature inside the enclosure on a continual basis, eliminating humidity, mildew, and condensation while drying approximately 200 cubic feet of interior space.

The rod draws only 12 watts of electricity and quietly maintains a dry, stable environment inside the safe. A 6-foot cord routes through the wall of the vault via a pass-through hole, and the unit comes with mounting brackets included for easy installation on the floor or interior wall of the safe.

Finished in a low-profile black to blend into any vault interior, the Lockdown 222010 provides an efficient, plug-in solution for rust prevention and corrosion control without desiccants, chemicals, or ongoing refills.
