It threads directly onto the objective bell of compatible Leupold riflescopes, cutting glare and helping shield the front lens from rain, snow, and stray sidelight so you can pick out targets and read reticle subtensions cleanly in bright sun.

Engineered specifically for Leupold scopes with a 44mm objective, this 3-inch Alumina shade is built to fit the VX-5HD, VX-6, VX-6HD, and Mark 5HD riflescope families. The threaded design lets you stack multiple Alumina shades together to create custom extended lengths for additional glare control, and a screw-on install keeps the shade locked in place during hard field use without slipping or shifting.
