The Kel-Tec P17 is a lightweight, polymer-framed .22 LR semi-auto pistol built as an affordable rimfire trainer. This configuration stands apart from the standard P17 with a distinctive OD Green optic-ready slide finished with rear serrations for easy press checks and manipulation.

The P17 uses a semi-auto action fed by a 16-round detachable magazine and chambered through a 3.80" black steel threaded barrel. The slide is optic ready and milled to accept a micro red-dot optic, while the polymer frame incorporates an integrated Picatinny accessory rail for mounting lights or lasers. Sighting is handled by a fiber optic front post paired with an adjustable rear sight, giving a clear, intuitive sight picture straight out of the box.
