HK21 Firing Pin Group

This little kit includes the most important assembly to any firearm: The firing pin, the firing pin spring and the locking piece. The HK21, made by H&K, and their Portuguese subcontractor FMP, was the West German evolution in firearm technology. Designed in conjunction with the MP5 and G3, the most prevalent early buyer was Portugal, who would later buy a license to manufacture the machine guns as well. Much like the G3, it fires NATO’s 7.62 x 51. The HK21s would go on to be used by Portugal until just a few years ago. It’s the bigger brother to an iconic battle rifle, reinforced and updated to serve better as an LMG.
