The Colt Viper is a six-shot revolver chambered for 357 Magnum and 38 Special, designed by Colt's Manufacturing Company as a carry-friendly platform with a half-lug barrel profile that trims weight versus a full-lug configuration while preserving a usable sight radius.

This SP4WRR configuration pairs a 4.25" forged stainless steel barrel with a matching stainless cylinder and stainless steel frame for a fully polished stainless package. The double-action/single-action trigger and exposed hammer deliver the classic Colt double-action revolver control layout. The cylinder holds 6 rounds of full-power 357 Magnum for serious defensive use and also feeds lighter-recoiling 38 Special for high-volume range practice without modifications.

Iron sights consist of a low-profile black ramp front sight and a U-notch rear sight for a quick, intuitive sight picture at defensive distances. At 28.50 oz and 9.25" overall, the Viper sits between a snub and a full-size service revolver and works equally well for everyday carry, home defense, or range time. The half-lug barrel keeps the muzzle profile compact while leaving a full sight radius for accurate shooting.
