Barnes Bullets TSX .270 140gr Boat Tail Reloading Bullets - 50/Box

The Barnes TSX (Triple-Shock X) is an all-copper hunting bullet engineered for deep penetration and high weight retention. This 270 caliber version (.277" diameter) is a 140-grain Boat Tail projectile intended for handloading the 270 Winchester cartridge and similar .277" cartridges.

Each TSX features a hollow point nose and an all-copper build. According to Barnes, this design produces no fragmentation, drives 28% deeper penetration than lead-core bullets, and maximizes weight retention. Because the bullet is constructed entirely of copper with no exposed lead core, it is a naturally lead-free projectile.

Handloader-relevant specs include a ballistic coefficient of .404 (G1), sectional density of .261, a cannelure for secure case-mouth crimping, and an overall bullet length of 1.308". This is a rifle reloading component - cases, primers, and powder are sold separately. Each box contains 50 bullets.
