Rio's Royal Pheasant line is a premium upland shotshell developed for the dedicated pheasant hunter. Loaded in a 28 Gauge 2.75" hull, this round carries 1 oz of copper-plated #5 shot in a clean-burning load with a matched wad, designed to deliver dense, consistent patterns on late-season roosters.

The copper plating on each pellet gives the shot a harder, smoother exterior than bare lead, and Rio pairs the payload with a clean-burning propellant to keep recoil in check on a light 28-gauge side-by-side or over/under without giving up the downrange energy needed to put a bird down cleanly.
