The Hornady SST (Super Shock Tip) 6mm .243 95 grain reloading bullet is designed to deliver tremendous shock on impact, expanding quickly and reliably at higher velocities. The pointed polymer tip initiates expansion at a wider diameter than comparable soft point designs, while the streamlined spitzer profile drives a high ballistic coefficient of .355 for flatter trajectories and retained energy downrange.

Built around Hornady's signature InterLock design, this bullet features a one-piece copper jacket mechanically locked to a lead core through a proprietary belt in the core cavity. This construction delivers high weight retention and consistent expansion across a wide velocity range, making it a versatile choice for a variety of hunting applications. A cannelure provides a secure crimp reference for handloaders using traditional single-stage presses.

With a sectional density of .230 and a 95 grain weight, this SST bullet offers a strong balance of velocity, energy, and manageable recoil for hunting in 6mm cartridges. Each box contains 100 projectiles, with 25 boxes per case for high-volume handloaders.
