Hornady Neck Turn Mandrel 20 Cal Stainless Steel

The Hornady Neck Turn Mandrel in 20 Cal is a stainless steel replacement mandrel designed for use with the Hornady Neck Turn Tool (sold separately). Neck turning is a case-prep step that lets reloaders reduce case neck wall thickness variation, improving bullet concentricity and producing more consistent, accurate reloads.

Each Hornady neck turn mandrel is sized approximately .002" under bullet diameter for the rated caliber, providing the proper internal support to align the case while the outside of the neck is being turned down. This 20 Cal mandrel is machined from stainless steel with a silver finish, giving it the durability and corrosion resistance needed for repeated use on the reloading bench.

Mandrels are sold individually by caliber, so you can equip your Hornady Neck Turn Tool for the specific cartridges you load. The standard Neck Turn Tool kit ships with 22 Cal, 6mm, 6.5mm, and 30 Cal mandrels; additional calibers such as this 20 Cal option are purchased separately to expand the tool's coverage.
