Hornady Lock-N-Load Shell Plate #16 Multi-Caliber Steel

The Hornady Lock-N-Load Shell Plate #16 is a quick-change steel shell plate designed for the Lock-N-Load AP press and compatible Lock-N-Load Pro-Jector models. Marked as plate #16, this multi-caliber plate holds up to 5 cases at a time and is built to streamline caliber swaps on the press.

Shell plate #16 is intended for several popular bottleneck-case cartridges sharing the same case-head dimensions, including .223 Remington, .380 Auto, 17 Remington, 22 Nosler, 6mm TCU, 6x47 Remington, and 5.6x50mm Mag (and other similar-diameter bottleneck cases such as 223 WSSM). The plate features a silver finish and is compatible with the Lock-N-Load EZject feature as well as all prior Lock-N-Load AP models, giving reloaders a single plate that covers a wide range of small-to-medium bottleneck cartridges in common use.

Designed for fast caliber changes, the Hornady Lock-N-Load shell plate simply drops into the press so the operator can move between cartridges in seconds. A wider mouth and rounded edge at the case opening allow smoother case insertion during the reloading cycle, and the plate is built to fit all other Hornady accessories in the Lock-N-Load system.
