The Hornady Lock-N-Load Modified Case is a precision reloading accessory designed for use with Hornady's Lock-N-Load O.A.L. (Overall Length) Precision Gauges. This 338 ARC modified case lets the handloader verify and optimize the overall cartridge length for consistent seating depth and reliable feeding across a handload recipe.

Each modified case is specially prepared to Hornady's exacting standards: it is threaded at the case-head for a secure, repeatable attachment to the gauge and features a .002" oversized neck so the same bullets intended for the finished load can be used during gauging. All Hornady modified cases are manufactured to SAAMI specifications for dependable, repeatable results.
