This .270 Caliber (.277" diameter) projectile weighs 110 grains and uses a Hollow Point Boat Tail (BTHP) profile engineered for exceptional downrange performance.

At the heart of every Hornady Match bullet is the revolutionary AMP (Advanced Manufacturing Process) jacket - a technological leap in design, tooling, and manufacturing that yields the most consistently concentric jackets available. Combined with precision swaged cores held to the tightest industry tolerances, Hornady Match delivers the consistency, high ballistic coefficients, and unprecedented accuracy serious reloaders demand.

The bullet's geometric profile is designed to produce low drag and flatter trajectories, while the secant ogive profile provides the optimum bearing surface for stability in flight and the best ballistic coefficient possible. The angle and length of the boat tail is uniquely optimized for each caliber and bullet weight to maximize performance.
