The Hornady InterLock is Hornady's classic soft-point component bullet, built around a traditional exposed lead tip and the brand's signature InterLock ring that mechanically locks the jacket to the lead core. This reload projectile is a .303 Caliber (.312") 150 grain Soft Point (Spire Point profile) designed for the .303 British / 7.7mm Japanese family of rifles, a long-proven reloading bullet for owners of surplus, hunting, and military-pattern .303 bolt-action rifles.

Tuned as a hunting projectile, the InterLock delivers controlled expansion and hard-hitting terminal performance. The exposed soft lead tip initiates reliable upset on impact, while the InterLock jacket-to-core bond resists jacket and core separation for high weight retention and deep penetration on medium and large game. With a ballistic coefficient of .361 and a sectional density of .220, the 150 grain weight strikes a balanced fit for classic .303 hunting handloads.
