The Buffalo Bore Strictly Business Buffalo-Barnes 357 Sig load is built around a 125 gr all-copper Barnes TAC-XP hollow point engineered for serious penetration in soft tissue and bone. As a lead-free personal-protection round, the monolithic copper projectile is designed to penetrate roughly 20+ inches in flesh and bone while expanding to approximately .55 caliber. Buffalo Bore uses a flash-retarded powder in this loading so the shooter's vision is not significantly impaired after the first shot, a real benefit in low-light defensive encounters.

In small cartridge casings such as 40 S&W, 9mm, 380 Auto, and 357 Sig, these long-for-weight all-copper bullets crowd precious and limited powder capacity, requiring Buffalo Bore to load the bullet to lower velocities.
