The Underwood Ammo 728 is a 255-grain hard cast flat nose 45 ACP hunting load rated for medium to large game. Finished with Underwood's Black Cherry coating, this round is designed for handgun hunting applications where bullet weight and deep penetration matter.

Running at a muzzle velocity of 1075 fps and producing 654 ft lbs of energy, this load is firmly supersonic. The Black Cherry coating prevents lead-to-bore contact, virtually eliminating lead fouling and letting the bullet run at higher velocities without fouling buildup. The coating is also thermally stable and resistant to weathering and chemical breakdown during long-term storage. Nickel-plated brass cases are reloadable for handloaders who want to stretch their brass.
