The Hornady Custom line of 45 ACP ammunition is built around the proven Hornady XTP jacketed hollow point, a 200-grain bullet designed for controlled expansion and consistent penetration on target. Part of Hornady's Personal Defense series, this Custom load is hand-inspected and uses carefully selected brass cases to deliver the reliable feeding, corrosion resistance, proper hardness, and ability to withstand maximum chamber pressures that serious pistol shooters demand.

Loaded to a muzzle velocity of 900 fps and producing 360 ft lbs of muzzle energy, this 200-grain XTP load is a versatile performer for the range and the field. Equally well suited to personal protection, hunting, and target practice, it is a do-it-all factory round in the 45 ACP chambering.
