The Barnes TAC-XPD is a premium .45 ACP +P personal defense load built around the all-copper 185 grain TAC-XP hollow point bullet. The TAC-XP pairs a deep pre-formed hollow cavity with solid copper construction that drives rapid expansion and consistent weight retention, with no risk of jacket/core separation.

Barnes loads each round in nickel-plated brass cases with coated all-copper bullets for smooth, reliable feeding and corrosion resistance. The all-copper projectile produces virtually no muzzle flash and pushes the 185 grain TAC-XP to approximately 1000 fps, delivering the stout +P-level energy that serious defensive shooters demand.
