SDS Imports 12ga S4 Semi-Auto Shotgun

I purchased the S4 after doing 2 weeks of online research. What I found were mixed reviews but mostly positive and the price was reasonable. The fact that OEM Benelli parts are interchangeable was a plus. The fit and finish are not the same quality as a true Benelli M4 and it will scratch easy. Upon receiving the SDS S4 I did completely break down the gun and deburr all mating surfaces. But keep in mind this M4 clone is 1/3 to 1/4 the price of a true Benelli M4 so 2+hrs of work is still cost effective. Once on the range it performed flawless using slugs,00,low and high brass game loads. Yes, its a good buy for this price point.

I was skeptical about this shotgun but seeing it was an exact clone of the M4 I thought I’d give it a go. Fit and finish are surprisingly good and functioning was on par with my buddies real M4. Ran about 100 mixed shells from high brass to white box Walmart fodder. All shells fired and ejected with only 1 failure to lock back after last round fired(this was white box junk) All other rounds ran perfectly! This thing is absolutely a blast to shoot and have found no anomalies on any of the parts. Given it’s only 100 rounds but I expected some trouble with the break in period. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a low cost fun gun. Ran absolutely perfect right out of the box!
