Description

We have acquired a rare selection of German-manufactured MG42 parts kits and accessories. Each kit contains the exact parts from the original firearm, with no mixed or swapped components. The kit you see is the kit you get. We have sorted through each kit and made individual part numbers to ensure you receive the kit you want.
 
The receiver markings are primarily from Maget ('44 and '45) and Gustloff ('44), and the manufacturer will be identified in the description of each kit below.
 
These MG42s were converted to .308 NATO. The top covers are slightly shorter, with some marked and others unmarked. Many mechanical parts are original MG42 components. The feed trays included are specifically for .308 ammunition, not converted 8mm trays. The bolts are heavier and often marked with production numbers indicating .308.
 
Overall, these kits are in good condition. We’ve detailed the specifics of each kit as thoroughly as possible. RECEIVER- 1945 Maget receiver with complete date code, partial MG42 ID, partial serial number, partial Mfg. Code, and complete proof firing stamp 

BARREL SHROUD- Cut from the same gun as receiver. Original barrel shroud marked bpr with complete front sight and rear sight assembly 

 BUTTSTOCK- Original WW2 wood buttstock with complete  

GRIP & TRIGGER- WW2 WaA marked Bakelite grip stick with above normal chipping. Includes complete WW2 marked trigger assembly 

TOP COVER- Converted .308 Bundeswehr top cover 

BIPOD- Kur 43 marked bipod with fine tune adjustment screw 

FLASH HIDER- Flash hider assembly complete with 10mm gas booster, barrel guide, and latch assembly 

GUIDE RAILS- Left and right guide rails  

BOLT ASSEMBLY- WW2 marked bolt carrier with post war Rheinmetal marked bolt assembly 

BBL EXTENSION- Unmarked Barrel extension 

CHARGING HANDLE- Rheinmetall marked post war charging handle 

FEED TRAY- Bundeswehr .308 feed tray 

EJECTION PORT COVER- Complete MG42 German ejection port cover assembly 

RECUPERATOR- Complete bpr marked recuperator assembly  

TRUNNION- Matching WW2 Trunnion set 2424
