    no1 mk3 musket

Very happy with this. Dirty but will clean up nice. Bolt handle was broken and upper rear handguard was missing.... other than that it was complete, everything else is salvageable, and the bore looks good.

    Great Project

    Posted by IT-Gunner on Apr 20th 2024

Received mine, a 1917 LSA, and thought at first all I'd have to replace was the buttstock, but the forend turned out to be rotted. The 3 barrel screws were rusted tight, so I had to mill those out. I had some severe pitting below the wood as mine didn't have the preservative like some. I filled in the worst pitting, got some new screws and wood and it looks great now! Very happy with what I got, met my expectations and was a great project to work on!

    Not bad at all!

Posted by Chris Restivo on Apr 8th 2024

Alright so the butt stock was broken off I was going to be replacing it anyway the reason I am going to buy another is that the handguards where in good shape and all the small bits where there I was expecting to have to replace everything and what I got was beyond my expectation. Well worth it and should clean up nicely.

    ,410 musket Enfield

I like the way these were built. No magazine well, solid walnut stock. Great project built. Was completely reblued and some small pitting removed. Bored is bright and shiny! Gonna be a great shooter with 1960 ammo acquired. Bargain price!!

    Enfield

Mine came with literally everything, I have a huge chunk missing out of my stock, and my stock is quite loose. They kindly included all my chunks. Has some rust. Rotten wood. This for me will never be a shooter. The bore is clearly not 30 cal. which is really cool. The amount of history per dollar is amazing here, no doubt a wall hanger for sure. A scribed name in the floor plate, and the unopened trap door in the stock is worth it alone. A full, real, wieldable MK.III for 100 bucks it's amazing that some people might actually get shooters at this price.

Couldn't be happier!! Don't know if I just got lucky but mine was 100 percent complete minus rear hand guard. Bore was pristine and wood had zero cracks. Cleaned up beautiful!!!

    Interesting piece of history

Posted by Seth Kingfisher on Mar 17th 2024

The rifle certainly arrived being very rusty and dirty however came with everything on mine. It was a 1918 Enfield that was converted to 410 musket in 1931. After removing some layers of rust and cleaning the very dirty bore it looks like it could possibly be a shooter with some work. Can't wait to complete this project and have a nice piece of history.
