Despite not having matching serial numbers on the bolt and receiver, these rifles maintain an esteemed place among collectibles, providing a fascinating narrative for both collectors and enthusiasts who appreciate a firearm with a backstory.
The Portuguese Mausers we offer were part of the second contract from 1941, known as the M937B, with a production overreach that saw some of these rifles utilized by the German military during WWII. Their historical significance is matched by their good condition, many having been safely stored away in Portugal, far from the ravages of war.
These rifles are not just for the showcase; they are a testament to living history. They stand ready to perform, whether in a reenactment of a storied past or a day of satisfaction at the shooting range. With visible stamping on the stock, these Mausers are as authentic as they are functional.

Nice rifle
Just picked up my K98 from the FFL, must say it’s a nice rifle in good shape with a very clean bore, only issue was the safety was missing on the bolt

k98
Overall condition of the one I received is good, and pretty close in condition to the one on the website. The stock is not dinged that much and the waffenampts are still legible. Metal still retains a good amount of bluing except on the barrel bands. Bore has visible rifling and is almost shot out but not quite. Some of the copper jacket is visible when I do the bullet test. Mine came with a sling. Overall happy with this unique K98 variant.
