Enfield SMLE Drill Rifle w/Grenade launcher
I bought this item to add to the collection. I was surprised to receive mine intact with a few missing minor parts. Overall, I like the item and would order another if it ever becomes available again.

Received this rifle and the grenade cup was dirty but in excellent condition. I took the rifle apart to clean the grease off and the wood fell apart. The butt stock was in good shape but the top and bottom fore end was broken in a few pieces. The bluing was in decent shape and the only parts missing were the mag follower and spring. I'll try to repair the wood and make a wall hanger out of it.

Enfield with grenade cup launcher
Overall, I am very happy with the condition of the Enfield No 1 and the launcher cup. The rifle is from Ishapore dated 1959 with all matching serial numbers except for the bolt. The metal bluing was in good condition and the wood stock had been repaired a few times but the entire rifle cleaned up well. Your buying a piece of history and it is a fun project to clean up and add your collection.

Drill Rifle w/grenade launcher
Rifle looks decent and as expected, missing about the same amount of parts as the advertised picture. The grenade launcher was the biggest disappointment, as it was missing the gas adjustment door and thumbscrew. I was expecting the rifle to be missing parts, but not the launcher as well.

Fairly good deal for the price
Receive this rifle in a timely manner and overall am mostly happy with it except for the fact it was missing more parts than I was expecting... Description said maybe missing some small parts and rear upper hand guard, the entire safety mechanism, the magazine follower and spring, the forward sling swivel, and part of the adjuster for the rear sight... What I am happy about is the wood and metal are in better condition than I was expecting and also the bolt and firing pin have not been been modified like on some drill rifles so this one will function... Also the bore looks shiny and new... Being as I am a machinist and a gunsmith I plan to remove the pin that's welded in the chamber and weld the holes closed so the rifle will be functional... I did complain about the amount of parts missing and was lucky enough to get a $50 refund... Also the grenade launcher is an interesting piece and a big part of the reason why I ordered this rifle in the first place... In all I am happy with the purchase after receiving the $50 refund... I have ordered many firearms, parts, and accessories from centerfire over the years and have mostly been happy with everything I've received..

Very good value for the money. Grenade Launcher was a big plus. It was missing both upper handguards. After cleanup, it is an impressive wall hanger.

Incredible value
These grenade cups alone are nearly $100 at other sites and you’re getting a massive trove of excellent parts. Mine had a complete bolt and all the wood but the small handguard. The magazine was complete. Could probably make back the purchase in 3-4 smaller parts on eBay. Centerfire comes through again. Oh, and everyone wish Lois a happy retirement!!!!
