Columbian 12/33 Carbine Barreled Receiver

This is actually a small ring action and just what I wanted to build a lighter weight rifle. There aren't any guarantees so I knew I was taking a gamble, but, the bet turned out generally in my favor. The good: No pitting on the receiver itself and minimal pitting along the barrel at three spots along the stock line. Was able to draw file the barrel pits out. The bore condition was a good surprise as well. After cleaning the bore the bore condition is somewhere around "good." The bad: The front stock screw into the receiver lug is broken off. Will have to attempt to drill it out or take it to a machine shop to remove it.
