Historical Note: Debuting in the early 1980s as the commercial/export counterpart to the Czechoslovak service vz. 82, the CZ 83 carried forward Česká zbrojovka’s tradition of robust, user-friendly sidearms. Its reliable blowback system, ambidextrous safety, and double-stack magazine made it a favorite among European police agencies and civilian shooters for decades.
