Picked my 2 up today and both where in very good condition. One was 1991 dated and other was 1994 dated. Grips had few scratches. Magazines where ex-military with he crossed swords drilled out,yes good magazine not the cheap ones.

Got myself a CZ 82 (9x18) last year and was so pleased with the size, feel and performance that I felt compelled to grab one of the 83's while they are still available. Like all things CZ these are very well made firearms. Shipping was very fast and Centerfire Systems has the best deal on these that I could find. Mine actually has a better finish than the one in the pic. It did have a good bit of cosmoline which is pretty standard for anything surplus and should be detail stripped and cleaned to the best of your ability. If you're at all interested don't wait. Good condition surplus firearms like these are becoming harder to find.
