The CAA CBS is a 6-position collapsible buttstock for AR-15/M4 carbines that combines tool-less length adjustment with mission-specific extras. Molded from high-impact polymer and weighing about 12 oz (commercial tube version), it features an ambidextrous, waterproof side compartment that holds 4 × CR123 batteries behind a snap-tight latch. A built-in Picatinny rail accepts the optional ACP cheek riser or SSM 12-ga shell holder, while the non-slip rubber butt-pad is angled for faster shouldering—even over body armor. Four ultrasonically-welded steel sling mounts support QD or strap attachments, and a large, glove-friendly lever provides quick LOP changes.
