Get 'em while you can! These are the last of the 1st generation 100 round dual AR-15 Drums!

We'll be the first to admit, these Gen1 drums have always had issues — the first of anything is going to be finicky (the Saiga guys out there know what we're talking about). All you gunners out there that have picked one of these up over the last few years has had to tinker with it. Whether it's been an over-wound spring, a 2/1000" difference in the cover fit, or a sticky follower, we've tinkered with plenty of them ourselves to get them to work with one degree of success or another.

All that said, we wanted to give you all the opportunity to pick one up, tinker with it yourself, and have what we think usually turns out to be a pretty darn good AR drum for HALF of what you can get a new Gen2.

So if you like saddling up to your workbench, doing a little problem solving, and saving yourself some money, give one of these a try and spend the rest of your hard-earned money on ammo where it's supposed to go.

    Some work

Posted by Christopher C. on Jun 18th 2022

Took it apart and welded part of an old 20 rnd mag in place of the original feed neck. Took 4 inches off the spring and made a new cover that fits better from sheet aluminum. Added some Lith. grease and plenty of graphite. Tinkered until it holds 98 rounds and works smoothly. If you can't sit at the bench and work with it, don't bother! If you CAN? Not bad for $65.00 bucks, a few cuss words and some time.
