    Yugo was marginal

The barrel was galled where pulled out of trunnion and where the bullet enters barrel was smashed a bit- if not for the entrance, barrel is usable, the galling repairable, the entrance im not sure about but im going to order one more barrel to see if better luck but ill massage entrance as long as headspace okay afterwards, or if 2nd barrel i order is better overall. I took a gamble and it may or may not work, but for $20 ill try again. Thanks guys, sorry i couldnt give a better review, but im still gonna try again.

    Took a risk, barely useable.

Recently purchased a nice Yugo M70AB2 underfolder kit with matching numbers and really wanted an nice original Yugo barrel to finish it off. I had read a couple good reviews and thought I would take a chance. Luck of the draw, the barrel I received looks pretty well shot out. The rifling foward of the chamber looks ok but is almost non-existent beyond the gas port. The bore was not shiny but dark. There is also a lot of muzzle corrosion, as well as a very worn, corroded crown. Several rounds almost touched the case neck while performing the bullet test. The outside of the barrel was very nice however. There are alot of original markings, good remaining bluing and almost no pull marks whatsoever. It may be “useable” but for the condition and amount of work, I’m reconsidering going new now and be done with it. To be fair though, this is all stated in their ad description and I KNEW I was taking a risk, I just lost this time. I’ve won plenty other times and it all works out in the end. Fortunately it was a cheap purchase and at worst I have a nice original desk relic. Lastly, their shipping was very fast and communication was good. If you are wanting an original Yugo barrel for your build and your expectations are reasonable but your willing to gamble, this could be right for you. I would consider purchasing other products from them.
