The Zastava M70 (formerly designated Crvena Zastava Model 1970, or CZ M70) is a recoil-operated, blowback, single-action pistol — the barrel remains stationary during firing while still being removable for maintenance. Owing its design lineage to the Russian Tokarev TT-30 of the early 1930s, the M70 pistol is built like a tank and easy to disassemble with the hammer assembly being removable as one piece. For many years these pistols were used by Yugoslavian police and military. Today the M70, sometimes referred to as "PĬ¨√ßelica" (little bee), is popular sidearm among Serbian civilians and with Serbian police as a backup firearm.
