While inventorying one of our warehouses, we came across a small pallet of M56 parts kits that were sorted out because of a chip in the right or left side top of the lower assembly. This seems to have occurred during the deactivation process. Folding stock and firing mechanism seem to be in working order. The wooden insert looks solid. The front sight is complete. The bayonet lug is intact. The recoil spring and rear assembly are intact. Charging handle included. Bolt looks good with the ejector. Bore is nice and shiny with good rifling!
Some small pieces may be missing. Metal shows some wear.
These kits have been in storage from the late 90's to the early 2000's!
