Issued to infantry units for week-long operations, the MOLLE II Large Rucksack is the biggest pack in the current U.S. kit. A cavernous main bag (≈ 5,000 cu in / 82 L) sewn from 1,000-denier, IR-treated Cordura® nylon in ACU digital camo rides on a lightweight Gen-IV polymer frame (NSN 8465-01-524-8368) that’s rated to shoulder 120-plus-pound loads without cracking. An internal shelf and zip divider let you keep a Modular Sleep System or other bulky gear separate from upper-compartment essentials, yet unzip into one giant cylinder when you need to stuff everything at once. Full-coverage PALS webbing, side compression straps, a snow skirt, over-load shelf, hydration sleeve with dual hose ports, and the included 500 cu in sustainment pouch (NSN 8465-01-524-7226) round out a ruck built to haul mission loads from Baghdad to Bagram. These surplus sets are Used / Serviceable — expect soldier stenciling or honest field wear, but sound stitching, zippers and buckles ready for your next hunt, bug-out plan or reenactment event.
