Few pistols are quite as iconic as the 1911 Colt semiautomatic. The Colt's excellent action and design prompted many other manufactuers to make their own versions and variants. This popularity of the 1911 helped lead to the creation of the Star BM pistol. Made in Spain by Star Bonifacio Echeverr (Say that three times fast!) these pistols were used in Spanish service as one of their primary 9mm platforms before later moving to the Beretta model 92. While not being an exact copy of the 1911, they did share many cosmetic and design similarities. These pistols saw use in Rhodesia and South Africa as well during their many conflicts of the later 20th century. The exact model in this parts kit is the tiny carry version in 32 Auto the mode SI. These pistols are incredibly sleek and sport an excellent action and steel frame being lighter than their full sized brother. This kit will be excellent for anyone who wants to repair an older SI pistol, or, just pre-empt the need for costly spares later down the line! The slide and barrel are in great condition, but, the real eyecandy is the goregous grips with a very nice design laid into the material on the thumb rest. This kit is a real bargain deal for all those hard to get small pins and springs too! Be sure to get this while supplies last. Very limited supply!
