Construction & Legal Compliance
This Goryunov Display Machine Gun is built from all original parts on an original compliant inert non-firing display receiver, making this a 100% legal display machine gun. The total length of the receiver was created completely new — no original cut receiver pieces have been used. Even the mounting lugs are new and have been welded to the receiver to mount/display on the wheeled carriage, making this totally legal to own without a license of any kind.
Complete Display Package Includes:
- Ammo can (original)
- Belt (ammunition belt)
- Shield (gun shield for crew protection)
- Wheeled mount (complete wheeled carriage)
IMPORTANT STATE RESTRICTION: Please note the belt will be removed if ordered by restrictive states. Belts are considered high capacity feeding devices in certain jurisdictions.
About the SG-43 Goryunov
The SG-43 (Stankovyy Pulemyot Sistyemy Goryunova) was designed by engineer Peter Maximovitch Goryunov and introduced during World War II in 1943 as a replacement for the older M1910 Maxim machine guns. The design was subsequently licensed to Warsaw Pact nations including Poland and Czechoslovakia, where it was produced through the 1950s.
The SG-43 saw extensive combat service throughout WWII, the Korean War, and numerous Cold War conflicts. This weapon represents a crucial chapter in Soviet-bloc military technology.
