SAKO-VALMET M28-30 7.62x53R 27" BARREL RIFLE
These rifles do NOT have the 'D' marking on the chamber which indicates these rifles have original Finnish bores. Original Finnish bores are tighter at 0.3082 to 0.3095 inches than Russian bores at 0.310 to 0.311 inches. Therefore, a possibility of high pressure is possible if the larger diameter (7.62x54R) round is used in the tighter Finnish bores. The 'D' marking was used to denote the chambers are for the Finnish D166 cartridge, which would also allow use of the large quantities of captured Russian (7.62x54R) ammunition.
Therefore, we do not recommend 7.62x54R ammunition be fired in these rifles.
Import marked on bottom of barrel.
Excellent condition: Light finish wear, minor scratches, possibly minor dents and/or dings, grease and grime, etc.
THERE IS A CRACK IN THE UPPER HANDGUARD. SEE PICTURES. THIS RIFLE ALSO HAS TRIGGER ISSUES. THE TRIGGER IS LOOSE WHEN THE FIREARM IS NOT COCKED.
